There are many types of plastic raw materials for circuit boards. Different types of plastic raw materials have different characteristics. Common ones include:

  • Polyimide (PI): With special thermal stability, mechanical strength and chemical stability, it is one of the most commonly used flexible circuit board materials.
  • Polyurea (PU): It has excellent flexibility, insulation and wear resistance, and is suitable for high temperature, high humidity and high pressure environments.
  • Polyester (PET): has excellent mechanical strength, flexibility, tensile strength and wear resistance, and is one of the lower-cost flexible circuit board materials.
  • Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE): It has excellent corrosion resistance, insulation and high temperature performance, and is suitable for high-demand environments.
  • Polyamide (PA): It has excellent heat resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for high temperature, high humidity and high pressure environments.
  • Polyamide ester (PAE): has excellent insulation, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for high temperature, high humidity and high pressure environments.
